FILES

For size reasons, the install program of this shareware version of The Games 
Factory does not contain all the files of the CD-Rom version. Additional
packs are freely available on the Clickteam Web site, www.clickteam.com. These
packs have been splitted into small files, so that you can download only
the files you need.


WHAT'S NEW IN TGF 1.06
----------------------
This version includes 3 bug fixes since the version 1.05:

* The problem with the actions "Load/Save Position" of the INI object 
  in the 32 bit version is now fixed.

* The 16x16 icon of the stand-alone applications is now correctly saved.

* 32 bit version: when you save an application which contains levels 
  with more than 64 Kb of events, sometimes these events could be corrupted,
  making TGF unable to reload your application. This problem is now fixed.
  Note: this does not apply to the 16 bit version of TGF, as it cannot handle 
  more than 64 Kb of events per level.

Also, this version allows you to integrate a preview image to your 
Internet games. This image is displayed by Vitalize 2.x or above while 
it's downloading your .ccn file. If you haven't yet installed Vitalize! 
on your machine, please connect to our site and download it. The Vitalize! 
plugin allows you to play in your Web browser the Internet applications 
created with The Games Factory or Multimedia Fusion.


WHAT'S NEW IN TGF 1.05
----------------------
This version is different from the CD-Rom version, as it now accepts the
Click & Create extensions, like the List box, Combo box, or even the extensions
made by 3rd party developers.

How to install a Click & Create extension:

1. Install the .cox file (resp. .ccx for the 16 bit version) into the
   root directory of The Games Factory.
1. Change the .cox extension (resp. .ccx) to .gox (resp. .gfx)
2. If the first 2 letters of the filename are "KC", rename them to "GF".

Example: KCFLX.COX -> GFFLX.COX

If you prefer to buy the CD-Rom of The Games Factory, please contact Europress,

If you already have the CD-Rom of The Games Factory, you can download a free
upgrade patch which will allow you to use the Click & Create extensions. This
patch is available on the Clickteam Web site, www.clickteam.com.


STAND-ALONE PROGRAMS / SCREEN SAVERS
------------------------------------
You cannot in any way sell the stand-alone programs and screen savers you create
with this version of The Games Factory. You may only distribute them on a no
charge basis (freeware). If you want to sell your stand-alone programs and
screen savers, you have to buy a special upgrade patch on the Clickteam Web site. 
The stand alone programs and screen savers created with this special version
of The Games Factory (TGF Pro) do not have any end screen; they are freely 
distributable and royalty-free.
